And the little one said... Roll Over, Roll Over

This week started off with me learning how to roll over from my belly to my back. Mommy and grandma put me on my belly for some tummy time, but this time I didnt have to start crying to get my way... I just turned my body instead! And I can't believe how easy it was. Now I am a pro at it. I am almost sitting up by myself as well. Mommy and daddy think it may just be another week or so before I do that too!

I had so much fun last weekend when mommy, daddy, bubby and zeide, auntie sari, uncle adam and auntie julie all took me to the Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin. Not only was it my first trip to the state of Wisconsin, but I had so much fun trying on all the fun hats and watching all the people play dress up and look funny. Although I have to wait another year before we go back, I know Zeide will always take me there because it is one his favorite places to go!

Enjoy my week of pics and my video of the big moment!

Happy Birthday Mommy

This week was mommy's birthday. We celebrated with almost all my aunts and uncles, grandparents and even my great grandma and pappa. It was so much fun and the icing on the cake was delicious! I was a little sad though because my auntie Andrea left for school and I already miss her soooo much. Mommy introduced me to banana baby food and I think it tastes so yummy and sweet. I also figured out that I have feet. I even try to eat my own toes.... even though mommy always takes them out of my mouth! Mommy went to see Wicked with bubby and my aunties Arielle and Julie so I spent the day with daddy and we had so much fun. Not only did we go visit Babi Ebner, but we also went to a birthday party for the Galster family where I played with all my baby cousins. I love to interact with everyone and I am starting to like my carseat and riding in the car. I realize that if I am in the car then chances are we are going somewhere fun. Better than sitting at home! Enjoy my week of pictures and videos!

Yeah for Bubby Times Two!

This week mommy and daddy took me to the big park at Independence Grove where we played and walked around. I didn't get to swim in the lake beach because I am still too little. I also had a playdate with my baby cousin Lea who is so fun to play with. We held hands and everything! I also was so lucky to spend a day with my Bubby Helene and Bubby Rose. We had so much fun together and we laughed so much. I love having playdates with family!
Enjoy the pictures!

My trip to the zoo

I went to my first bris for my newest cousin Israel Tzvi. I had so much fun and dressed up for the occasion. Afterward, I visited my Great-Babi Ebner and she kissed me from head to toe. I loved laughing and giggling with her. Mommy and daddy had to go run a few errands afterward so we went to Old Orchard where I was given my first little taste of Love's Yogurt. And boy did I love it!

On Sunday I went with Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Andrea and Grandma Terri to Brookfield Zoo. We saw dolphins, monkeys, bears, tigers, stingrays, elephants and penguins. I cried at the dolphin show, at the bears and penguins and slept through the rest of the exhibits. But I still had fun! Mommy and daddy really enjoyed themselves so I know we will go back again soon. Hopefully I won't get scared of the animals again!

This week I figured out how to get my thumb in my mouth by itself and without my other fingers. So I LOVE sucking on my little left thumb. I hear my daddy did the same when he was my age. Also, my food menu is ever expanding. It now includes rice and oatmeal cereal and sweet potatoes. This week mommy said she will introduce green veggies and more orange ones. I cant wait! I love to eat real food!

Enjoy the pictures and video from my funfilled week!

On my way to the tennis club- well not really....

My first shul outfit
Frozen yogurt- what a treat!
Welcome to the zoo
Sucking my thumb at the dolphin show. Too cute.
I like to pull my pacifier out and try to get it back in my mouth.
Me in my Brookfield Zoo hat Grandma bought me. I like the hat even though I wasn't very happy.

Such a big girl

This week I went to the doctor's office for my 4-month check-up. I weighed in at 12 pounds and I am 24 inches tall. I am still really tall and skinny but my legs are getting some chunk for mommy and daddy to kiss. I also had another round of shots which gave me a fever for a day but I am all better now.

I am so lucky because daddy surprised me with the baby Penelope pup (not pictured) which completes my puppy doll collection.

This week, I had a playdate with my bff Maya who I love to spend time with. Now that I am more alert and have great hand control, we were both trying to hold eachother's hands while we were sitting side by side posing for our picture. We are too cute!

Then, I met my cousin Anat and her new husband Yona who flew in all the way from Arizona to come visit. I didn't get to play with them for long enough, so I hope I get to see them again soon. I miss them already!

Finally, I took my first train ride to Downtown Chicago to go visit my daddy and mommy's workplace. I met so many people who all told me the same thing.... that I am sooooo cute! I had so much fun in the city and on the train and can't wait until I go visit again.

But the best part of my week is when mommy and daddy got the go-ahead from the doctor to start me on solid foods. Rice cereal isn't too thrilling, but I am learning how to eat off a spoon. Actually, it didn't take me very long to figure it out and now I am a professional eater. Enjoy the pictures and video!

This is what I thought of mommy and daddy when we were in the waiting room of the doctor's office. I cant talk, but my fingers say it all!

I'm Popeye the Sailor Baby!
Maya and me having lunch and shopping
Anatti and Yona- I love you both so much!

Don't we resemble eachother??

I was sleeping, but mommy got a shot of us right before we headed onto the train

Hello to all my new friends at PriceWaterhouseCoopers!

Yummy

This week I had a playdate with my grandma Terri and aunties Rita and Sandi and then saw the family again at grandma Terri's birthday party. We had so much fun and I enjoyed being held by all my family. This week I started laughing at myself when I would do something funny, and I also laugh when I anticipate that mommy is going to tickle me. She just gives me that look- and I start giggling! I love to play and interact with people and I easily get bored when I am not played with. But who wouldn't want to play and laugh with me... I am so cute and fun to be with!

This week my bubby Helene gave me a special lollypop treat. I am pretty sure babies my age shouldn't be eating junk food, but she just couldn't resist. I think my mommy will think twice about letting her choose my meal plan... But I really enjoyed it! YUMMY! Maybe mommy and daddy will take this experience as a clue and introduce solid foods to me soon.

Enjoy. I know I did!!!!

Mommy wasn't sharing her shabbat wine with me, so I figured I would take it myself!

I am not shrinking! Now I have both the medium and extra large penelope pups.... and I think the baby pup is coming soon!!!
Happy birthday Grandma Terri!

I was so happy after mommy gave me a frozen teething toy. It felt so good!

Laughing and singing in my crib
Mommy and me looking at the goats at Indian Boundary Park. I wasn't too impressed with the variety of animals though.
Me and my lollypop. I couldn't get enough.... so good thing I dont have teeth to ruin yet. Bad Bubby!
