Gobble Gobble For Me at 8 Months!

This week I celebrated my first Thanksgiving at my bubby and zeide's house. I had so many cousins to play with and had a blast! I tried turkey but preferred the bologna and kishke. Yummy! I also got to spend a loooong weekend with both mommy and daddy since they had time off from work. Daddy makes me laugh so much and mommy is always running to get the camera. Then I officially turned 8 months old so daddy bought me a special cake to celebrate. I am getting to be such a big girl! I am working hard at trying to crawl so hopefully I should master it any day now!

Peek-a-boo

This week I have been practicing pushing myself up from a laying down position to a sitting position. I also try to get on my knees but I haven't gotten there fully yet on my own. Hopefully I will be crawling soon because I know where I want to go and I want to get there that second!

This week is Thanksgiving and luckily mommy and daddy both took the day off so we can spend the day before Thanksgiving together. We went to the children's museum but I didnt like it because there were so many people and kids were running around everywhere. But mommy and daddy said they will take me there again when I am a little bigger and I will really like it then. Only time will tell! Then I got the best present yet... a rocking horse that shakes its head and makes horse noises. I love it!

Foods are getting so much better!!

Another week has gone by and I didnt get to try swimming again. I woke up Friday morning with a little cough and somehow mommy and daddy both got a big cough. Strange how that happens! This week I got to meet my mommy's cousin Sam who flew in from Arizona for a wedding. Sam met Sam!! How silly.

I am getting to be such a big girl and I love to eat grown up foods. New on the menu recently are matzah balls, cottage cheese, bagels and cream cheese and my favorite... spaghetti and meat sauce.

Not a little mermaid yet

This week I am congestion free and feeling so much better. I missed my first swimming class last week when I was too sick but this week mommy and I went. Since I love my bathtub and the little mermaid movie so much, mommy and daddy thought I would absolutely love the swimming pool. Not the case. I was so scared and grasped onto mommy as tightly as I could. I was a bit tired too so we are all hoping class is more fun next week. I will keep everyone posted!

7 Months old but I still have a cold!

This week I dressed up for my first Holloween and I was such a cute ladybug. I was fascinated by my costume and tried to eat my wings and hat every chance I got. I didn't get to go trick or treating because I am still getting over some bad congestion. Hopefully it goes away soon so I can breath free again and sleep better at night. This week was very strange because the weather was super nice and warm. I spent some time going on walks with mommy and I really enjoyed myself. In preparation of the colder weather, Bubby got me my first pair off Ugg boots and I cant wait to wear them. But for now I am content with eating the box....

I officially turned 7 months old on Sunday so happy birthday to me!

I can feed myself!

This week I got my flu shot but I really surprised my mommy and daddy when I didnt even cry. It didnt hurt me at all and I dont even remember it. And for once I didn't get a fever. Yay! The other big event this week was when I finally grabbed my own food from the table and put it in my mouth. Mommy was there to see it and was so happy for me. I love eating my finger food snacks!
